Some pretty pictures for you

I took these pictures on our anniversary camping trip to Brown County State park back in October. I have plans to put them in frames on my living room wall.

Christmas

Every year my family does breakfast on Christmas day. It has always been at my grandparents house and is usually very nice.

Well since my grandparents have passed away and we no longer have the house, my mother decided to have it at her apartment this year. Her 2 bedroom apartment. Oh, did I mention there are about 24 people who come. Yeah, it was a bit cramped.

Other than that, I had a very nice Christmas. After we had breakfast and opened presents at my mom's, we went to Ben's parents house for lunch and that was much less cramped. From there we went home to spend the afternoon doing nothing. Well I napped and Ben played his new computer game. When I woke up, I decided to clean. And not just a little. I scrubbed the basement floor, did the laundry, dishes, vacuumed, and cleaned off the table. Sort of unorthodox for Christmas but it just needed to be done. We ended the day with a couple episodes of Lost and went to bed rather early. All in all, a very peaceful day.

Who is the most impatient person you know?

Well that would be me. At least I'm aware how bad it is.

Since Ben and I did our Christmas presents way early this year (I got a puppy and he got parts for his bike) we are just doing stockings like we do every year. And every year there is a disagreement on WHEN we should open them.

I always win.

So we both went to Walmart separately yesterday to get all the fun stocking stuff and then when he got home from work I nagged him endlessly until he finally gave in. (not fair play but who cares) He would rather wait until at least Christmas Eve but I just won't have it.

This post is really about what he got me as a "stocking" gift. If you can even count it as that considering it's about 3x bigger than the stocking. He got me this pillow. I slept with it last night and it was pretty much fabulous. I usually have a somewhat stiff neck when I wake up but not this morning. If you don't have one, order it from that link. You will not be sorry.

A blah year

For some reason this year, I have not been able to get into the Christmas spirit. In the past it has taken nothing; I hear one chord of a Christmas carol and my heart is overflowing with Christmas joy. Not this year.

I just now got my shopping done and it consists of mostly gift cards because I was in no mood to be creative or thoughtful.

I am so sick of Christmas music. I think it's making me grumpier.

I have yet to wish ANYONE a Merry Christmas.

I'm not sure why I'm such a Grinch. Maybe it's because it was a really crappy year and I'm just ready for it to be over.

On a completely different note, I'm going to be doing the 21-day Daniel fast along with many others at my church at the beginning of the year. Since my husband won't do it with me (because he thinks he will die) Trin is going to do it with me and we will support each other. I'm really looking forward to this because I know it will bring me closer to God and help me to rely on Him even more and become stronger in my walk with Christ. I'm ready for the challenge and the awesome experience and the deliverance it will surely bring.

Also at the beginning of the year I will be starting a ladies study of the book of Esther. I can't wait to start this either. To delve into the life and actions of this amazing woman will be pretty awesome.

Needless to say, I am determined to have a better year next year and there's no better way to do that than give the first fruits to God.

Wow

it's been a long time since I've blogged. Well there's not too much going on to blog about but here's an update anyway:

I have been transferred to a different branch at my job. It was just supposed to be for a month but that was in October and I'm still here. They really need another teller and I am filling that position until they find full time teller.

And it might just be me.

I'm part time right now but I have the option to go full time but I would have to stay at that branch. It's really a hard decision because I really want to go full time but I like working at my hometown branch better. But I think I have decided that I need to get over it and accept the full time position. I could really use the extra money and I don't see them sending me back to the other branch for a long long time anyway.

So why not?

Well you may be saying "because Jada, you are going to do the smart thing and go back to school next semester so you can get your degree and start your own photography business someday, and not be the college drop out." And then I would say...

Your wrong.

I am not going to go back to school next semester, or the one after that. In fact I'm not sure WHEN or IF I will go back to school and frankly that doesn't bother me one bit. I am very happy at my job. It pays well, I have great co-workers, and it's an easy job. I've never liked a job this much and I honestly can't see myself quitting anytime soon, even if I do get my degree. So I'm going to save myself the money and time and not go back to school unless I somehow change my mind. I can always go back to finish but I just don't have the desire to right now.

Besides, I have learned enough about photography that I can still do it on the side and make a little more money. I have clients lined up until next October already so I don't think I will have a problem. I love photography and just because I'm not in school doesn't mean I can't still do what I love and profit from it.

The full time position is not an absolute yet but I'm 99% sure I will get it the first of the year.
I feel very good about my decision and the possibilities it has for my future.

I'm still here

just don't have much to blog about. We are all moved in and have redone the bathroom that was done in what Andi called "awesomely tragic" golf and plaid wallpaper. There was nothing awesome about it. I had "before" pictures but I accidentally erased them. I really need to stop doing that. But I will have after pictures posted as soon as I get somewhere where I can upload them.

That's another thing. Still. No. Internet. Is sucks bad.

Ben and I got tattoos yesterday. I would post pictures but again, no internet at home and at work I'm not allowed. They are the same thing but different. Mine's a girly looking cross on my wrist that has "Matthew 19:6" going down it. Ben's is the same but with a more manly cross and it's up a little more on his arm. They are freaking awesome. Oh and so you don't have to look it up the verse is "So they are no longer two but one. Therefore what God has put together, let no man separate." It is perfect.

Hopefully my next post will have some pictures. Till then...

still.....

no....power.....or....water.....goin on 4 days......it sucks.....real bad....that's all...

Home sweet home (without power....still)

We have been without power at our new house for 2 and 1/2 days now. Even better is that we have no water because our well pump is electric. Lovely. I spent the first night at Trin's which wasn't bad it just wasn't my bed and it's always hard for me to sleep when I'm not in my own bed. Yesterday I went to mom's to shower and stuff. I ended up sleeping (well trying to) at my house and halfway through the night Ben came home with batteries for his fan. I fell right to sleep after that. I am never going to take advantage of the sound of a fan again. So I am hoping and praying that when I get off work, I will go home to a house with power and water. That would be awesome.

As for the dog, we decided that now is really not the best time for a new dog. We are going to wait a few months and get settled in and then I think we will get a puppy. Maybe.

Ben started his job at Crackle Barrel yesterday. He is just training on the computer right now so it's not too bad. He thinks he will like it. I hope he does.

That's it for now....

Friday, September 12, 2008

I forgot..

We are also getting another dog. Since we now have a HUGE yard we think Cyrus really needs a brother. We were going to get a puppy but my friend Whitney has to get rid of her boxer mix and since Cyrus is a boxer mix I thought it would be perfect. We are taking Cyrus to meet him tonight and if all goes well (and Ben isn't allergic to him) we will be taking him tomorrow. His name is Mater. I will hopefully have pictures up of him soon too. Thanks Perri for offering to let me come upload pictures at your house...I will definately need to.

That's all for now...

All the changes...

have left me feeling like I kinda have a new life. We got moved this week. There is still some unpacking to do but we have everything at the house now which is a relief. I'm still sore from all the moving. We are without cable or internet for who knows how long....it has to be ran out there first. At least I have internet here at work so I don't go completely crazy.

As for other changes....Ben is getting a second job. Just kinda out of no where he decided he wanted to take a part time job so we can get our debts paid off faster. I thought maybe I should be the one to get another job since I only work part time now. My dad works at Crackel Barrel as the training manager so I thought I could get on there as a waitress. Well since my dad is in charge of training, I found out I can't work there...so Ben decided he would. Yep that's right, Ben is going to work at Crackel barrel as a cook. He went in yesterday to fill out an application and had his interview then and he starts on Monday. It actually will work out pretty good cause he is ONLY working Mon. Tues. Thurs. and Fri. from 2-9. He will still have weekends off. He's only going to work there for about 6 months or so or until we get some crap paid off. It really is going to be so weird because we won't see each other much during the week. I'm not really sure how I feel about it but I keep telling myself it's only for a few months AND we will be getting stuff paid off. Hopefully it will work out well...

That's it for now....I'll keep ya posted on how things go and hopefully I can somehow get some pictures on here of the house!

We are Moving!!!

My mom's cousin messaged yesterday to see if we were interested in renting her parents farm house. She said it sits on 10 acres and is in good condition and cheap. I said "how cheap?" Well it turns out its only about $50 more than what we pay for our apartment. So we went and looked at it last night. It is so cute and private and has a HUGE yard that Cyrus loves (yes we took him to look at it too). I think it could use a little updating but for the price, it is awesome. So.....I talked to her today and we are going to be moved in by the 15th! That is 2 weeks from today. I was stupid and didn't take my camera but here is an outside picture of the house I found online.

It has two bedrooms upstairs and an office, living room, bathroom, and kitchen down. It has an unfinished basement with (this is my favorite part) a washer a dryer. I can now do my very own laundry! It also has a huge barn out back for Ben's man things. We are both VERY excited that we actually have a house now.

Now, let's get movin!

You'll Never know

just how much it means to me that I know I have SEVERAL people in my life who will do ANYTHING for me when I need. I have been going through a very difficult time in my life the past week or two and to know that I have some amazing people there, day or night, to be with me, talk with me, and pray with me, really is an awesome feeling. They know who they are so I don't need to mention names. But I love you and thank God for you. Even if it seems I didn't take up your offer of help, it means the world that you at least offered.

I know most of you don't know everything that is going on and that's a good thing (trust me) but I am definitely going through a time in my life where Satan has decided to attack and attack hard. I have stood my ground though and will NOT let him win. I have God on my side and therefore cannot lose. If I had not had my eyes on Him right now, I would have lost everything I have. But I was looking at Him and therefore what I have is only going to get better and stronger. Right now it's going to take lots of time to start moving forward and get past this huge bump but I have faith that God will be with me to the end.

My God can NEVER fail!

I'm still here...kinda

These are the lyrics to a song by Rachel Lampa. I think it fits me perfectly right now.

I'M FOLLOWING THE LINES LOOKING FOR THE ANSWERS TO A PRAYER
I'M LOOKING FOR THE SIGNS WAITING FOR THE SIGNAL THAT UR THERE
IF YOU ASK WHY I BELIEVE-
O THE ONLY THING THAT I COULD EVER SAY

YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN LIFE WILL TURN AROUND
ONE DAY YOUR FAITH'S STRONG THE NEXT IT CAN'T BE FOUND
AND YOU'RE NOT LOOKING AND ALL I KNOW IT'S OUTTA MY CONTROL
AND YOU NEVER KNOW I TRY TO FIGURE IN THE TIME WHEN MIRACLES SHOULD HAPPEN TO APPEAR
AND WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT THERE'S NOTHING MORE THAT I CAN DO DOWN HERE

I WANNA PLACE IT IN YOUR HANDS EVEN THOUGH
I WANNA UNDERSTANDYOU NEVER KNOW WHEN LIFE WILL TURN AROUND
ONE DAY YOUR FAITH'S STRONG THE NEXT IT CAN'T BE FOUND
AND YOU'RE NOT LOOKINGAND ALL I KNOW IT'S OUTTA MY CONTROL
AND YOU NEVER KNOW IF YOU WANNA SPEND YOUR LIFE IN YOUR DESIGN,
YOU'RE ONLY WASTING TIME

so....yeah

So without any details which are quite frankly no ones business (sorry to be so blunt), this past weekend I thought that life as I knew it was over in the worst possible way. FORTUNATELY, I (ok mostly God) did not let that happen and I am slowly but surely putting the shattered pieces back together. I know this is very vague but it's all I can do right now. I still need many many prayers but I have faith that it will get better. I am going to be stronger because of this.

P.S. If you wait a few days, I'm sure the rumors will get around.

my prayer

Father God,

Lord I pray for strength. The strength to do Your will not matter what it costs me, for I look to you for my path and direction. I pray for comfort for everything that is to come, and for wisdom to see it through. Most importantly Lord, I ask for courage. It's not easy what is laid before me and I need all the courage in the world to do Your will, whatever that may be. Please Father I ask that I be strong enough to get through this so that I can go on sharing the love You have placed in me. In all Your grace and mercy I pray. Amen.

Day 3 of torture

I mean diet and exercise. Well I'm more sore than I have been in my entire life. And I thought it was bad after one roller derby practice with Andi. HA! That was nothing compared to how I feel now. I hurt in places I didn't know it was possible to be sore in. But I guess that means it's working. I am doing the workout again tonight and that will be a sight to see...I can barely move.

As for the diet...it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm doing the low carb diet which means I can only have 20 carbs a day. The past 2 days I've only had about 13 each day. Not to bad. I've been eating LOTS of salad, LOTS of grilled chicken, and drinking LOTS of water among other things. At least cheese is low carb. I'd die without cheese. Have you ever realized how many carbs are in EVERYTHING??? Like one can of Mountain Dew has like 42. Geez. Well after one week of this diet I can have more, just gotta keep a watch on what and how much I eat.

Oh by the way, I've lost 1.5 lbs already. Not to bad eh? I can't wait to lose the other 23.5!

Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Exercise is my favorite....

NOT! But I am starting this new one called Turbo Jam. I have seen it on TV forever and always wanted to do it and my friend has the videos so we are going to start doing it. Everyday. We started today and let me tell you, it pretty much kicked my butt. But I will not give up! Besides from the overly energetic people on the video, it was actually quite fun.

Along with that I am going to be dieting; eating healthier foods and smaller portions. I am really hoping to lose between 20-30lbs because that is my target weight range according to this chart.

So wish me luck, and for all you weight watchers out there, I will be sympathizing with you!

My Quiz

So I gave in and finally made one....go here to take my quiz.

Silly boy

So here I am again. posting. That's twice in a little over a week. thanks.

School starts one month from today. I'm getting less and less excited. I'm not excited about spending more in gas to drive to and from Ivy Tech. But it's only once a week this time cause I'm taking more online classes. Hopefully I don't overload myself with projects. I just keep telling myself that after this semester I only have two more. Yes!

My job at the bank is going great. Who would have thought that you actually CAN love your job?

I took my dog Cyrus to my friend Megan's house last night. She has a black lab named Sadie and her and Cyrus are good friends. They played, and played, and played, and played, and just when you thought they were winding down, they were chasing each other again. I seriously think they would never stop playing, they would just fall over and die. Megan and I were friends in school and don't get to see each other often so it was fun to just hang out and let the "kids" play. We had to call it a night when Cyrus started bleeding from what looked like a carpet burn. He didn't even care he had it but that's coming from the dog that got hit by a truck and was still running around like "what happened?" Silly boy...

Well that's all I got for now. Have a great weekend!

It's been awhile...

but I really haven't had much to blog about.

Trin and I had a great time in Florida last month but were glad to come home.

I go back to school in about a month. I'm excited yet not because I know I tend to get really stressed out really quick. Hopefully this semester will be better...

I am doing my first wedding photography in two weeks. It is my cousin's and am really excited. I also have one scheduled for October, some senior pictures to do, high school soccer team pictures and hopefully more. It's exciting that it is already starting to take off. What will it be like when I get my degree? :)

Ben and I have really been praying hard lately for God to show us where He wants us and what He wants us doing as our ministry. We are pretty sure we know what He wants us doing but it is going to take a lot to get there. All your prayers would be awesome.

I have a new obsession. It's called Twilight. It is a book series that is really quite good. It is more for young adults but I think lots of people would enjoy them. If you like vampires, werewolves and love stories, this is a series for you. There is also a movie coming out in December...

So that's what's been going on in my world. Sorry it's been so long. I promise to write more often!

Florida vacation day #1

So Trin and I finally made it to Florida. It has been a LONG day (we woke up at 3am for our flight) Since then we have flown to North Carolina, then to Jacksonville, then took at 30min shuttle to our hotel. We went to the beach and swam in the ocean and laid out. So far it has been a very very nice day. We are exhausted though from the travel and are about to crash. But before we do I thought I'd post some pictures of the day. So here ya go!

Here is our awesome hotel room. Very Nice!

Us at the Beach. ....

And us pooped at the end of the day! We are so looking forward to the rest of the week!

I'm bored so here's a random list...

Sorry if I've said any of these before.

1. I am 100% addicted to chapstick and I don't plan to do anything to get over it.

2. When someone I don't know walks past me I hold my breath because I'm afraid they will smell bad. Some people I do know I still do this around...

3. I have a great desire to have red headed children.

4. I wash my hands about 10 times a day. I'm not germophobic, I just like nice smelling hands.

5. I have the horrible idea in my head that I am going to die in a terrible car accident. No idea why.

6. I HATE bananas and anything banana flavored.

7. I hate tying shoe laces. I perfer to slip on tennis shoes. If something happens and they come untied, I have to retie both of them because they will feel different if I don't. Grrr.

8. I don't dance. Ever.

9. Heros is pretty much the greatest show.

10. I count my steps sometimes when I walk. It's exactly 82 steps from my job to my apartment.

80s night

Last night our church had an 80s night. Well Trin and I went all out and were totally excited about our outfiys we bought:

It was much fun. People went up and sang some 80's hits such as "I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore", A Weird Al song, some U2, and some REO. Good stuff. Here is picture of some of the fashionable ladies:

Gabe and Trin:

and of course me and Ben....don't we look like the classic 80s couple....ha!

School's out for summer!

That's right! I couldn't be happier either. And guess what I got a 4.0 for the semester! That hasn't happened since Jr. High for me. I must say, I am very proud of myself. The next 3 months should be pretty relaxing for me. Only 3 more semesters to go! lol

Will you take him?

We are getting rid of Ozzy our little dog. Ben doesn't like him and Cyrus is too rough with him. If anyone is interested or knows anyone who is interested, please let me know ASAP. Ben is taking him to the pound if I don't find a family that wants him soon. I really don't want him to so let me know if you want this cute little dog.

He is about 8 years old, sweet, good with kids, and completely house broken. He calm and quiet and gets along great with other animals. Anyone want him?

Update

Haven't posted in awhile. Sorry.
This is the last week of School. I cannot begin to describe how excited I am.
I go to Florida in 33 days. I think that is about the only thing pushing me forward right now...the fact that I will be resting on a beach in just over a month.

Ben and I recently started watching the first season of Heros. I can't believe I was missin out all this time. I am addicted. So is Ben.

Ben and I had a nice day yesterday. WE went to eat at one of our most favorite Chinese places after chuch with friends. We filled our tummies with yumminess. Then we got home and went to the park with Cyrus so I could take some pictures for my last project. Ben took last night off just so we could hang out today and watch Heros. It was so very nice. I love him.
Here is my final project for my photography class. The theme is "At the Park." Enjoy.

Another year gone by...

Today is my 21st birthday.

I can't really say I feel any older because I already feel much older than that.

I'm officially an adult now but I've been married for 1 1/2 years. Weird.

Anyway, I'm gonna party like it's my birthday by going back to work. Yay.

Have a great day everyone!

Everything is gooooood

I haven't blogged in forever. Sorry. Nothing much has been going on.

Only 4 more weeks of schoool and I'm done til August. Really excited!

My new job is still great. It is everything I wanted it to be.

Oh and.....I am going to Florida in June! Jacksonville Beach specifically. I'm going with Trin. Just the two of us. On the beach. For 4 days. Need less to say I. am. so. excited. We got our flight and hotel booked today so it's a sure thing.

We decided to start tanning a little now so we have a little base for the horrible sun burns I know we will get. I can't wait though.

Admit it. You're jealous.

That's all for now I think. Have a great week everyone!

What are you?

I took this little quiz from Perri's blog. Daisies are my FAVORITE and I really think it is true what it says.

I am a
Daisy

What Flower
Are You?

"You are just a sweet person. When a friend needs a shoulder to cry on, you are happy to offer yours with a box of tissues as well. Once in awhile, you wish you could be a little more dramatic but then sensibility sets back in and you know that you are perfect the way you are."

Happy Easter!

I found this and thought it was kinda funny. Enjoy...
The Rules of Chocolate
If you get melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly.
Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.
The problem: How to get two pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car. The solution: Eat it in the parking lot.
Diet tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It'll take the edge off your appetite and you'll eat less.
A nice box of chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one place. Isn't that handy?
If you can't eat all your chocolate, it will keep in the freezer. But if you can't eat all your chocolate, what's wrong with you?
If calories are an issue, store your chocolate on top of the fridge. Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves.
Money talks. Chocolate sings.
Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger.
Why is there no such organization as Chocoholics Anonymous? Because no one wants to quit.
Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done.
Chocolate is a health food. Chocolate is derived from cacao beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived either from sugar beets or cane, both vegetables. And, of course, the milk/cream is dairy. So eat more chocolate to meet the dietary requirements for daily vegetable and dairy intake.
HAPPY EASTER !!!

Happy Birthday Colter!

We celebrated my nephew Colter's 2nd birthday today. It was a Star Wars themed party and the cake was pretty awesome...

He gone LOTS of Star Wars toys and a new Star Wars bed. Here he is opening some presents.

That's my Aunt Jennifer with him. Today was her birthday and as you can see from her cake in the background, she is only 10...lol...

I think this was Colter's favorite present:
his very own light saber. I think he is one happy kid!

Nice Happy Pictures

I had to do an architecture assignment for class and I chose to do interior architecture. I went to Georgie's (Ben's mom) attic. Her house is about 100 years old so I thought I could get some really great artsy fartsy (I don't know how to spell that) pictures there....and I think I did...how bout you?

Like I said.....nice happy pictures.

Short update

This semester is already over halfway over. I really just can't believe that because it feels like I've done nothing in school. I have a feeling it is all going catch up with me in the second half but I'm ready. Bring it on.

Tomorrow is my last day at Subway. Forever. I am really excited but will miss a couple of the people I work with there.

I start working at the bank on Tuesday and to say I'm excited is an understatement. I've been shopping and have all sorts of cute new cloths to wear. Everytime I go inthe bank to deposit money or something they all ask when I start. People I don't even know and have never seen are asking me this. It kinda freaks me out that they already know who I am and I have never even seen them but they are all super nice and I can't wait to work with them.

I have to go to class now and turn in a paper I wrote like 5 minutes ago. I hope I did it right. Wish me luck. Peace.

Big News!

and no it's not that I'm pregnant!...haha.... I got a new job.

Before I left Woodforest, I had put applications in at different banks to try and get on at another one in town. Since that was in January, I figured by now they weren't interested. I was wrong as always.

Last Friday morning the head honcho guy from People's Bank called and wanted me to come in for an interview. I was amazed. This is the same bank I went for an interview last year about this time and they ended up deciding they didn't want to hire anyone.

Well my interview was yesterday morning and they said they would let me know no later than the beginning of next week.

He called this afternoon to offer me a part time teller position.

I am beyond excited because I will be working the hours I want which is right at 32 hours a week, perfect for being able to get homeowrk done too. It also pays pretty good. It is more than I made at Woodforest but less then Subway but I'm OK with that.

Did I mention it is like three buildings down from my apartment so I can walk to work everyday? With gas at $3.18 right now, imagine how much money will be saved by not having to drive to Newburgh everyday!

The bad news is that I have to tell Mary I'm quitting AGAIN. I feel like such a schmuck because she welcomed me back with open arms and a smile and now I am just going to leave again. BUT I did put in this application BEFORE I went back to Subway so it's not like I went behind her back to find another job...right?

Anyway I will tell her in the morning.....Wish me luck!

I'm so excited that I get to dress up for work!...lol...a reason to go shopping!

Sorsha Turns 2

Today was Sorsha's birthday and she had a great time at her Blue's Clues themed party. I know Trin will probably want to post more about the details so I will let her but here is a picture or two of her on her big day.

This one is of her playing with her different Blue's Clues characters before the party which she knew all of their names very well.

This was the present opening and this is her actual surprise face when she saw what it was. She kept saying "open it, open it." So cute.

This is my favorite picture from the day. I love her chocolaty smile. if you click on the picture you can see what I mean. That girl kills me.
Happy Birthday Sorsha! We love you!

Engagement

I did my friend Whitney's engagement pictures today. We went to the school to use the studio there (I will someday have my own) and it was much fun. I have to say that just being behind the camera and taking pictures is one thing in this world that I feel absolutely comfortable doing and I have so much fun when I do. I can't wait until I get to do this for a living. Anyway, here are a couple pictures of the lovely couple.

I really think they turned out well. What do ya'll think?

New picture!

Since I don't have a scanner, this is actually a picture of the picture hence the glare from my flash at the bottom, but you get the idea. This is a picture from an assignment at school. It is by far one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken simply because it was fun to do and all of the detail it has. We had to shoot it with one of the old fashion 4x5 cameras and for those of you who don't know what those are they look like this.

They are big and bulky but they are really awesome because you can move almost every part of it to take pictures at all sorts of angles and views. If it weren't for the fact that it is film and I hate film, I'd get one.
That's all for now. More soon!

Our Family

So I was bored and wanted to take pictures but didn't know what to photograph. Then I decided to take pictures of the only thing around, our children. Cyrus and Ozzy cooperated quite well, the cats.....not so much but I did the best I could. So here is our (not quite so) little family.

This is Cyrus, the newest edition to the family. We adopted him from the humane society a little over amonth ago. He is a boxer mix and a year and a half old. He's a big baby and sometimes a trouble (and mess) maker but I still love him. Just look at those big puppy dog eyes, how could you not love him?

This is Ozzy. He was originally my mom and dad's dog but they had to move in with my grandpa who already had a dog who wouldn't get along with Ozzy. My brother took him for a couple of months but he didn't do very well over there so that's how he ended up with us. He is a chihuahua mix and very temperamental. He is about 7 years old. Though he has an attitude bigger than he is, I love him too.

Shadow is about 6. We got him from Ben's sister Trin because as she and her husband Gabe were going on their 4th child, he made her get rid of him. I don't think he is all right in the head but he is very affectionate. Even though he is not all there, I love him.
Then there is Chester. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be him. I found him at Ben's mom's house outside when he was just a kitten. He is now about 2 and my little buddy. He is somewhat shy but very loving and sweet. What can I say....I love him.
There, now you have all met the animals who are basically our children and will comtinue to be for a very very long time.

New Look!

Yeah you probably already noticed that I changed my blog. I was bored with how it was. Maybe this will prompt me to blog more (I doubt it). But hey, ya never know. I really am going to try to get more pictures on here just as soon as I start taking more.

I've been pretty busy with work and school (not to mention I was sick for about a week) but I know I will have more to post shortly, just hang in there. Anywho, I must be off now to finish the dreaded homework.

Good night!

Really Random Pictures

I actually meant to post the one of Chester and the one of Colter like umm....2 months ago around Christmas but got side tracked. The other one I took the other day at the local cemetery.
